Just 10 days after graduating high school, she was shipped to basic training in the 403rd Civil Affairs Battalion out of Syracuse. She was deployed to Iraq in 2006. During her overseas service, Jennifer says one of her best memories is building schools for girls and women who were once banned from learning.
She continues her learning at Utica College where she's pursuing a degree in psychology- child life. After graduation, Jennifer is interested in working as a therapist for people suffering with traumatic injuries and post traumatic stress disorder. Currently, she also works at Sitrin Health Care as a military consultant.
