Kicking off the new year in style, Fritz's Polka Band is performing in
their hometown for their first show of 2013. Fritz's Polka Band is
returning to Joel's Steakhouse in Verona next Sunday for an all-ages
event. Band-members say they're ready to put on a fun show filled with
many different styles of music.
"I encourage folks to come out. If they haven't seen us before, don't get hung up on the middle word that says polka. We do play polkas of course, but we do play a modern style polka that's a little more upbeat and lively. We also play anything from country, to rock, to blues and in between," says Fritz Scherz, band-member Fritz's Polka Band.
And this will be the band's first show without Tom Campbell, their guitarist who recently retired.
