An annual event will soon be showcasing various types of art work from our area.

The 63rd exhibition of Central New York artists will open Sunday at Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute Museum of Art.

Works featured in this show includes quilts, sculptures and paintings.

"It's very gratifying to see what a rich, visual arts community we have in Central New York. There are always new artists coming in and then artists who always lived here, but perhaps never applied before," said Curator, Mary Murray.

Twenty-nine artists from CNY will be showing off their work through April 28th.

The exhibition is free and open to everyone.
