No verdict has been reached for the man found near a 2011 Utica homicide who is charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
Andre Jackson's attorney, Les Lewis says the trial is over, and now the judge needs to consider the evidence.
Police say Jackson was found lying underneath a car in May of 2011, and later a handgun was found near where Jackson was discovered.
Prosecutors are trying to prove that a trace of DNA on the gun is linked to Jackson.
Lewis says a verdict is expected to be reached sometime on Thursday.
