Two area not-for-profit services have formed a partnership. Compeer of the Mohawk Valley and Center for Family Life and Recovery have agreed to enter into a beneficial partnership. Compeer will now serve as a program of Center for Family Life and Recovery. Coordinators say this is a great opportunity for both agencies and the community.

"We're really excited about working together to bring about a community mindset, built on recovery," says Judith Reilly, Compeer coordinator.

"We're able to offer more services under 1 roof. By combining those resources provides more programming for individuals coming through the door. We're lessening the overhead which can put it right back into the services for the community," says Cassandra Sheets, CEO for Center for Family Life and Recovery.

And the CFLR Compeer program will be holding an open house on Monday, January 28th from 8:30a.m.-9:30a.m. at 502 Court Street, Suite 401 in Utica. They encourage all community members to attend.
