The Bears turned the ball over four times in the first half. The defense tried to make up for that with a pair of Tim Jennings picks, but they weren't enough.
"That was a good team we played out there," says Jennings. "They beat us in the turnover battle. That gave them a better chance of winning."
It didn't help the Bears when they lost Jay Cutler at the end of the first half to a concussion. Jason Campbell took over at quarterback. He completed 11 of 19 passes for 94 yards, but he couldn't sustain any drives.
The Bears also lost rookie defensive end Shea McClelling to a concussion in the first half.
On the bright side for the Bears the offensive line didn't allow any sacks.
The Bears drop to 7-2 on the season. The Texans are 8-1.
