Bears-Niners Predictions 11/17/12

By: Scott Leber
Updated: November 17, 2012
Here's how our staff sees the Bears-Niners game on Monday.

Aaron Bennett, WCIA-Champaign-49ers 13 Bears 7
"The Bears defense continues to dominate. As long as Jay Cutler is out the Bears offense won't score enough points to be good teams."

Kurt Pegler, WMBD-TV Peoria-49ers 21 Bears 10
"Alex Smith's status is up in the air.  But we know Frank Gore will play for the 49ers. The Bears will be tested on both sides of the football. I'm still not crazy about the Bears' ability to score if it doesn't involve the defense or special teams."

Scott Leber-WTVO-TV Rockford-49ers 17 Bears 13
"This would be a low scoring game even if Jay Cutler and Alex Smith were 100 percent healthy. The defenses will try to outdue each other in this one.  The 49ers will prevail at home."
