NO VICTORY
IS EASY IN THE NFL, BUT THE BEARS VICTORY OVER
- Lovie Smith, Bears Head Coach "I normally don't write down injuries on a sheet here. There are so many I had to remember them all."
-Halas Hall could easily be confused for a medical infirmary this week, as six different Bears starters went down to injury against the Vikings. Although the injuries are an inconvenience to a team trying to make a playoff push, the Bears won't take time to feel sorry for themselves."
- Jay Cutler, Bears Quarterback -It's a challenge, making sure they're all on the same page, making sure they all have the same calls. In the middle of the game, in the third quarter, fourth quarter, we can't have a slipup."
- Matt Spaeth, Bears Tight End-It's nothing new to us or any team. You go through an NFL season, there are going to be injuries, especially on your offensive and defensive line because it's such a physical place to play."
THE GOOD NEWS FOR BEARS FANS IS THAT MOST OF THE INJURIES ARE MINOR.
FOR A TEAM THAT'S GOT A SLIM MARGIN OF VICTORY FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR, THEY'LL NEED ALL THE ABLE BODIES THEY CAN GET.
- Brandon Marshall, Bears Wide Receiver -We're excited about where we're at right now but we've still got to play five more ball games. It can change any week."
