Also she has to help us take care of 2 animals 3 kids and 1house this equalls 1 thing STRESS! She spends alot of money on my room because it needs to get redone . She needs to have a day to herself a day of spa-ness would be GREAT ! Mom you give us alot and we would like to give you a little. mom we all love you soooooooo much! love ur kids -Alice from Utica |
my mom deserves more than a day off she deserves a day to be named after her. she just lost my father in nov.07 due to cancer the worst kind ever and she still remained strong for all of us and our children. i have 2 other siblings and we all have children. she (my mom) is our back bone in the family. she is my hero of the world. she deserves a day in remembrence. thank you so much mom we love you lots. keep the chin up. -Kassie from Rome |
| My mother deserves a day off because she is always helping everyone. For the last six years I have been disabled and my mom would sit by my side during hospital stays, she would drive my back and forth to physical therapy and doctors app. so that my husband would not have to miss work, and when my dog was diagnossed with Lymphoma my mom drove her once a week to Cornell University for chemotherapy for nine months, and I'm not the only one she runs for. She talks my aunt to her drs. app. and does shopping for her and her friends and always is on the run for her grandchildren. Weather someone forgot something for school or needs a ride to practice or work. Lets not forget holidays and family dinners. We couldn't survive without her. -Michelle from Verona |
What makes my mother special is the fact of how self-less she is. She constantly puts the needs of others before her own and continues to go above and beyond what is expected of her. The reason why I feel she deserves a day off is that recently, her father (my grandfather) became ill requiring her to tend to him. She has been going back and forth to doctor appointments and making sure that he is well taken care of all the while maintaining her own responsibilities. I would just like to see her have a day just for herself and truely enjoy some time to pamper herself! -Jason from Ilion |
| What i love most about my mother is the fact that she always is giving to others and never for herself... if someone is in trouble and needs help she is always there to help no matter what the situation is. She is a caring, loving, intelligent, and courageous woman. She raised me and my younger brother all alone and she also raised my cousin since we were in the 9th grade. She's also helped me out a lot with my daughter. i don't know what i would of done with out her around. I think she deserves a day off to please herself and get a little alone time just for her. For everything she's given me, my daughter, and our entire family... She never puts herself before anyone.. it's others before her that's why i believe she deserves a day off.... - Vanessa from Utica |
I would like to say that my sister is a wonderful mother of three and a greatful wife. She thrives to give her beautiful girls the best of their childhood. Being a full time student up in Rome pursuing her her dream to soon be a Dental Hygienist, as well and working a part time job she still finds time to be with her family and make every time enjoyable. Her three girls are her life, and are always seen by her side. She loves being able to see an expression on their face, or a phrase that was said and was undescribable unless you had been there, these girls are with her every moment she has free. I love how she is so family oriented, and would give anything at the drop of a hat to be with her family no matter what. My sister deserves day-off cause she needs a day to pamper herself from her busy school and work schedule. If she got this amazing day-off i know she would probably have these girls by her side but thats what she loves the most! Everyday she gets to spend with her family she is so happy, and thankful for every minute they all have together. - Kerissa from New Hartford |
| My mom is special because she is a wonderful mom. My mom was a nurse for 15 years until she was in a car accident and wasn't able to work again. Then she was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia which means you ache all over and tired most of the time. But don't get me wrong she still is working at being a mom to my 11 year old sister. Not only is my mom a late bloomer (40 when she had her) and 51 now, but the Fibromyalgia takes a toll on her. This has also made her self-esteem very low. She is a terrific mom and a best friend who is very caring. She thinks of everyone else but her self. My mom deserves a day for herself, to make her feel special (as special as she is to me). I love you mom. -Lori from Herkimer |
The thing that makes my mom special is that she is very beautiful and caring and very honest. My mom is like... incredible she is a teacher and made me and convinced me to doo better in school i love her so much i dont even know how to explain it.I am saying this from the heart and she makes me very happy in my life. And i think she she makes everyone have happiness in their lives. One time i wrote her a poem and she loved it.And my mom tries very hard to get us food, cloths and a shelter too live in.And she needs a day off because she works so hard from everything when she gets home from work she is wiped out!But the she has too deal with the kids all by her self. And i feel realy bad for her because even if she get to go somewhere she has to come back because the kids always need something,a emergency. So i think my mom is really special to me in sooooooooooo many ways! And i want her too know i'l always love her =) - Collin from New Hartford |
