Update: Charges Against Off-Duty Trooper in Home Break-in

Charges have been filed against Trooper Jesse Miller. The off-duty New York State
Trooper reportedly broke into a person's home Saturday morning.
The break-in happened at 27 Beverly place in Utica. Officials say 31-year-old Trooper Jesse Miller broke in and confronted a man who lived there. Then a fight happened leaving the trooper and victim in the hospital. Both were treated for injuries.
His attorney Les Lewis says Miller has been charged with assault, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing.
