A Schuyler man was found with a loaded handgun in the waiting room at Faxton-St. Luke's healthcare office Thursday morning, police say.

An employee at the office says 63-year-old Charles Vore displayed a black handgun during a dispute with employees over a prescription.

Vore is charged with one count of menacing. He was arraigned in Herkimer Village Court. He is due back in court on January 17th.

The Herkimer Police made an application to the Herkimer County Court for an immediate suspension of Vore's New York State Pistol Permit.

Several firearms were removed from Vore's residence by the Herkimer County Sheriff's Office.
