A little girl from Utica has been diagnosed with Retinoblastoma - a rare form of eye cancer.
12-month old Savanah Redmond was diagnosed in September, after her mother noticed a strange glare in her daughter's eye. A benefit is being held this weekend to raise money the massive medical expenses the family is dealing with.
A friend of the family tells Eyewitness News, the benefit is also about educating the public about the illness. The benefit is set to be held this Sunday at Valentinos in Washington Mills from 1 until 4 in the afternoon. There will be activities for kids, a silent auction, and Chinese raffle.
