Rome man repeatedly crashes into a Nice-N-Easy

A Rome man is arrested for failing to comply with police after repeatedly crashing into a Nice-N-Easy in the Town of Lee.
66-year-old Flavio Benavidez fled the scene and failed to stop his vehicle when police tried to pull him over. Benavidez continued to swerve on and off the road before eventually stopping his van.
Benavidez is charged with various traffic violations, DWAI
Drugs and DWI, and leaving the scene of
an accident.
He is due back in court at a later date.
