Bomb Scare Arrest

The Utica Police Department has finally made arrest regarding the bomb
scare that took place at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center on March 15,
2012.
Officers spoke with hospital personnel who say Mark Thomas, 30, of New York Mills went into the Emergency Room that day, said there was a bomb in his car, then threatened to set it off with his cell phone.
The police found his vehicle in the parking lot of the hospital and safely removed the device, which was determined not to be a danger.
Thomas is charged with placing a false bomb, which is a felony.
