Around 500 students sported the cap and gown look for their afternoon graduation at the Utica Aud.
For some graduates, it's a bittersweet time leaving high school, but also an exciting one to start the next chapter of their lives.
"It's very rewarding after all the hard work and determination, it all pays off, so it feels really good to finally be moving on and going to college," said Graduate, Olivia LaPolla.
"It's absolutely exciting, but it's also sad because you're seeing a lot of students that you've been with for the last couple of years leave. They've certainly made a great mark on Proctor High School," said Principal, Steve Falchi.
Not only was the high school celebrating the student's achievements, but Proctor High School is also celebrating their 75th Anniversary.
