Incumbent Congressman Richard Hanna joined the community in hitting the polls Tuesday.
Rep. Hanna exercised his vote in his hometown of Barneveld.
He tells Eyewitness News that throughout the day he was feeling comfortable.
The Congressman says there are still many things he wants to finish in the office.
"With the nano center, and with cyber security, and just so many things all over the district...so we've turned it into a real job and I'm looking forward to coming back next year and pick up where we left off," said Rep. Hanna.
Mr. Hanna says that the primaries are an important part of the process, and he encourages people to continue to come out and vote.
His opponent, Michael Kicinski cast his vote in Earlville today, but told Eyewitness News he wouldn't answer any of our question.
