With the 4th of July and the Boilermarker in the same week - It's a big weekend for area hotels.
The Hotel Utica says if you haven't made a reservation yet, you are out of luck because all its rooms are full. They say beginning today through Sunday, it's one of the busiest weekends of the year.
"This is going straight through Sunday, we're booked, like overbooked in some cases. And that's probably because of the 4th, a lot of people start today, start tomorrow and then the Boilermaker which is a big race here and then it goes straight through from tomorrow right thru Sunday. So we're gonna be busy, busy here on this end," says Gerald Graham, front desk clerk at Hotel Utica.
For an average one night stay at the Hotel Utica, guests pay $110 to $130 dollars, but on a big weekend like this, Graham says prices can go as high as $210 dollars a night.
