Students attend Robotics Summer Camp all week at Griffiss Institute

Over twenty students from Central New York attended a robotics summer camp all week long.
Students learned how to program and build robots with Legos. Today, they put their skills to the test.

The camp is one of Griffiss Institutes' Science, Technology, Engineering and Math or better known as STEM initiatives.

One participant convinced his friend to join him this year.

"We had to program our robot to do different missions. We had to push a lever and have something fall on it and program it to bring it back," said participant Grant Colerick.

Both Grant and his friend say they hope to be back next year. The camp is aimed to encourage students to pursue degrees in STEM.
