It was a big day for anti-hydrofracking activists - the HydroReliefWeb held a presentation in Clark Mills. It brought leaders from the anti-fracking movement to the area to speak about new information. The movement to actually criminalize hydrofracking was a highlight of the discussion.

"I hold a restricted pesticide license and if i did the same deliberate poisoning to people that they did i would go to jail for life," says Toshia Hance, anti-fracking activist.

"There is no criminal law based on these chemicals spills and human injury from this industry the reprecussions of them are only doled out by the DEC," says Garry Colarusso, anti-fracking activist.

Coordinators say open-discussions and rallies are all part of the ongoing effort to get community members involved in the fracking movement.
