Some big names in sports marketing came together for a Sports Business
Rountable Discussion this afternoon. These included the CEO of Oneida
Nation Enterprises, PGA Tour professionals, sports agents, and
university athletic directors. The panel discussed the best use of
sports marketing dollars and they gave their opinions on the business of
sports today.
"We had a transition into the ACC. And one of the reasons that the ACC was attracted to us is because we did a good job branding New York as our home, and media market, and all those types of things, and I think the ACC really found that attractive," says Daryl Gross, Syracuse University athletic director.
The discussion was the kickoff of the Notah Begay III Foundation Challenge - a professional charity golf tournament that will be taking place tomorrow. And we'll be bringing you full coverage of the tournament tomorrow evening.
