Labor Day is the second largest cookout event of the year in the United
States. For some, it's the last big event of the summer. For others,
it's a fun day to barbeque with friends and family. Eyewitness News

loved ones.
"My favorite part about Labor Day is food, family, games and fun, and nice weather today so we can enjoy it," says Ricky Turner, Utica resident.
"On holidays we just bond more so and it seems everyone we know come and we have a lot of people and we sit back and reminisce," says Sheila Billings, Utica resident.
And that's how one Utica family celebrates their last hoorah of sweet summertime.
