Although it's being reported that the State Fair's attendance is down this year, officials from Oneida County Tourism says it's been a strong summer season for Central New York.
Many businesses and attractions say they've been having an up-season. And more people are traveling farther.
As some wrapped up their last summer vacation this Labor Day weekend, they're now focusing their attention on the next season.
"Fall is a great time. One of the highlights is the leaf peeping. One of our staff members sends reports of how are leaves are turning to I LOVE NY so we are included in that," said Kelly Blazosky, President of Oneida County Tourism.
For a list of activities and events for the fall, more information is available at the Oneida County Tourism office located on the Thruway, just off Exit 31.
