The convention is a weekend long celebration of pop culture that focuses on horror, sci-fi, and paranormal worlds.
"It's like a candy store for horror fans," said David Curtis, who came to the convention from Maine.
"It really is just an opportunity for people who are fans of those genres to get together, meet people that they have respect for as far as celebrities and also mingle with each other because they share a common interest," said convention promoter, J.V. Johnson.
And it was the common interest of horror films that brought David Curtis to the convention, and to meet a cyber-friend for the first time in person.
"We met online through a horror movie group and she told me, why don't we go to this horror convention," said Curtis.
Along with friendships, the fans at "Scare-A-Cuse" also had the chance to meet their favorite horror film stars.
And for Sara Sivers, seeing Halloween Star, P.J. Soles was far more than just a meet and greet.
"It's always fun to meet everybody because everyone is so excited to meet the people they've seen in the movies for so long. We just get new fans all the time, it's thrilling for me, and it's thrilling for me to hear their stories, I just love it," said actress, P.J. Soles
