There's a new place in town to satisfy your sweet tooth craving.
Sugar Babe's Cupcakes and Christine's Cookie Shoppe in New Hartford opened their doors Tuesday morning.
The place is owned by two separate owners who started out of their home, and have now merged into one location.
Both say they're looking to give Central New York all their sweets, and encourage people to shop local.
"When you go to a local mom and pop shop, you get that more personalized service. You get to know people's names, they're not just a customer that's coming through their line," said Owner Terri Puleo-Donato.
"It's keep the money right here in Central New York. We have so many great bakeries and restaurants here it keeps our community strong. We want people to stay here," said Christine Meeker.
There store currently has temporary hours and is open Tuesday through Saturday.
