And just hours before the debate, Hamilton College students were treated
to a special lecture. Prudence Bushnell, the former U.S. Ambassador and
CEO of Sage Associates presented a lecture titled "What Does Leadership
Look Like And How Do You Learn It?"
Bushnell spoke on a range of international and leadership issues. One of the coordinators say bringing speakers helps students make the connection between the classroom, and policies used in the real world.
"She embodies the drive and the ethics that are necessary in the 21st century. I think students will walk away with substantive knowledge, they can move in the direction that she has," says Frank Anechiarico, Professor of Government and Law at Hamilton College.
Prudence Bushnell was brought to Hamilton as part of the the Levitt Speaker Series, sponsored by the Arthur Levitt Public Affair Center. All discussions are free and open to the public.
