Utica's first Public Safety day is right around the corner.

Members of DPW were busy setting up Friday afternoon at City Hall.

On Saturday, there will be a police dog demonstration, a fire climb and much more.

Gene Allen, Marketing Director for Urban Renewal says this is a good way for people to see their officials in a different light.

The day begins at 11 a.m. and will go until 3 p.m.

Anyone is welcome to come and it's completely free.
