Seniors in the Rome area had the chance to speak with Oneida County Executive, Anthony Picente today about any issues on their minds.

The county held it's first of several Office of the Aging forums at the Ava Dorman Senior Civic Center.

The purpose of the forums is to talk about any needs that seniors might have throughout Oneida County.

The County Executive says it's a great way to keep in touch with the community.

"The needs of our seniors change and it's something to be a little more in tune with to see where we can reach out and create a dialogue and what services can we provide in addition to what they've already getting," said Picente.

The next forum is scheduled for this Thursday at the Parkway Senior Center.
