They offer comfort and warmth during cold times. Today a group in Utica gathered blankets for the victims of hurricane sandy. The group is working as part of Project Linus to give away 5-thousand blankets to children. Currently the total is more than 4,000 and our area has donated three hundred so far.
Mary Dobrovolc says, "It's important because our children are important. If children are in trauma they need security and that's what the blankets provide."
