Joe sits down with Linda Lane, of the American Heart Association's local chapter, to discuss the upcoming America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk event, scheduled for March 2, 2013 at Utica College.
Linda discusses the new program "My Heart, My Life" and how this year's expo, scheduled for March 1 from 9am to 9pm, will be more interactive. Visit www.uticaheartrunwalk.org to register. They also take a look this year's Heart Run and Walk logo, designed by Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute students. Linda talks about the various fund raising walks taking place all across the area.
Also, Joe sits down with Jim Stasaitis of the American Heart Association. Jim has been involved in the Heart Walk and Run event for 30 years. They discuss the history and growth of the walk and the various venues where it's been held over the years. They also take a look forward at Boilemaker 2013.
