President Obama is getting a taste of Central New York next week.
Cooperstown Cheese Company in Milford will be providing their gourmet cheese at the inaugural luncheon.
Sen. Chuck Schumer is in charge of the inauguration and wanted to have as many New York State products represented as possible.
He gave a list of cheese-makers to a caterer, and two kinds of cheese from the company were picked to be served.
Co-Owner Sharon Tomaselli says Cabinet members and The Supreme Court will have the chance to try the cheese.
"It's really big for us and for recognition for the dairy in Upstate New York as well. For us, we sell a lot of our cheese around the metropolitan New York City area but we really wanted to make a step up and get national distribution and get more recognition," said Tomaselli.
The two cheeses on the menu are called "Jersey Girl" and Toma Celena.
Sharon says she of course, hopes the President and the First Lady enjoy their products.
