Trenton Town Supervisor charged with sex abuse appears in court

The Trenton Town Supervisor charged with sex abuse made an appearance in Floyd Town Court Monday evening.
According to officials, Scheidelman is accused of sexually abusing a child at his home.
Tonight's appearance was a control date, but it was adjourned.
The adjournment was a request by the District Attorney's office.
Now, according to judge Christopher Clarkin, the DA's office will have 60 days to present the case to a grand jury for a possible indictment.
Scheidelman's due back in court on March 11th.
