Not many of us can say we're going to the Presidential Inauguration next week. But, one area student can check that off her to-do list. Rome Free Academy Sophomore Claire Kondella has been invited through a leadership program she's been a part of since 6th grade.

She says she's looking forward to a week-long of festivities.

"I know that we have the ball and I know that we have the inauguration. I saw it four years ago at school. They stopped all the classes and we watched it in the auditorium. I think it will be cool," said Kondella.

Claire says she hasn't decided on a dress yet for the Presidential Ball. She and her family will be leaving for Washington D.C. at the end of the week. President Obama's second inauguration is scheduled for Monday.
