The Utica man found guilty of killing Jennifer Bennett back in 2007 will be sentenced at a later date.

30-year-old Craig Ingersoll's attorney has requested for an adjournment. Ingersoll was set to be sentenced today in Oneida County Court.

But due to a medical emergency with one of Ingersoll's family members, he is now scheduled to be back in court February 19th.

A jury found Ingersoll guilty of murder in the 2nd degree and criminal sexual act in the first degree back in November.
