The man charged in Utica's only homicide in 2012 has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Jamal Gadson pleaded guilty to manslaughter back in December for the death of Jermaine Stubbs.

Gadson's attorney, Leland McCormac says there were reports that the two were drinking at a bar before the shooting.

McCormac says there was also another confrontation on the street on Lenox Ave.

Right before his sentence, Gadson told the judge if he could take it back, he would.
