High school graduation may still be a couple of months away, but students at one area school are already preparing for their future.

Over 300 seniors at Oneida-Herkimer- Madison BOCES Career and Technical Education Center attended an annual job fair at the BOCES Learning Center.

Students asked questions and learned more about job opportunities right here in Central New York.

"It is important for our students to know about the job opportunities here in the Mohawk Valley. We always do encourage them to explore their options but it's nice when they can remain local. This is an opportunity for us to show the power of the partnerships of the career and technical centers and business industry," said Principal David Stayton.

Over forty area employers were at the job fair. They were available to talk about their organizations that are related to technical programs the students are currently studying.
