Rome Relay For Life Kick-Off

As the warm weather approaches, that also means it's Relay For Life
season. And tonight, some Rome community members came together for the
official kick off. Attendees listened to presentations, heard cancer
survivor stories and learned how they could get involved for this year's
event.
"The first lap is for survivors and that's amazing and awe inspiring. And you see some people recently diagnosed, others have been survivors for years. And then in the evening, you see the candles lit in honor of those that won and in memory of those that haven't won their battle, " says Amy Weakley, Rome Relay For Life committee member.
