How healthy are our counties?

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation released the Annual County Health Rankings for New York State.
According the the results, Livingston County was at the top of the list for the healthiest.
In our Area, Otsego County ranks 28th out of 62 counties.
Herkimer County ranks 39th and Oneida County ranks 50th.
Eyewitness News spoke with a representative from The Oneida County Health Department about what these numbers mean.
"It really gives us a health snapshot of how healthy our residents are, and it reminds us that health cannot just be improved by looking at one particular thing," said Krista Drake, the Public Health Educator.
Drake says the county moved up five spots from last year.
She does say there's always room for improvement.
