The Enchanted Forest Water Safari Theme Park is open one last weekend before coming to a close
"We had a really great summer, the weather has cooperative all summer so we're winding down to our last couple of days ," said Executive Assistant of the park, Kelly Noonan.
The park will have it's final days until closing time on Monday.
Noonan says Labor Day weekend is the perfect time to get a final dip in the water or head down the slides.
Unlike the crowds on a hot summer in July, Noonan says lines won't be as long and there is something for all ages.
"The best ride I've been on so far is the gorilla," said park visitor Jimmy Ahern.
Ahern's father, Mike, was also excited to be that the park before closing.
"We came to the park because it was the last weekend of summer, watched the weather all week hoping it would be nice and it is a beautiful day, " said Mike Ahern.
While this is the last chance to come check out the water theme park, this does not mean there aren't other attractions to enjoy in the fall.
"All the stores are open, all the restaurants are open, McCauley Mountain is open for a scenic chair-lift ride to see all the fall colors. Fall is just an absolutely gorgeous time of year up here, " said Noonan.
As the water themed park closes it's doors after this weekend, another one opens with fall activities to look forward to.
The hours for this Labor Day weekend will run 10 A.M. until 5 P.M. This will still give park visitors plenty of time to check out all the rides in a day.
