For all you coffee drinkers out there, today is National Coffee Day.  According to the owner of the Utica Coffee Roasting Company Frank Elias, coffee is the second most traded commodity in the world.  He says the bean is harvested all over the globe, but he chooses the best crops based off of what the Specialty Coffee Association of America and coffee brokers he works with say.  Mr. Elias explains that when he receives the beans, they look like little green kernels. They then go through the roasting process where the beans are popped, water is released, the beans are ground up, and then finally can be drunk.
