Utica Police have now updated the suspicious death of Davis Motel owner, 68-year-old Linda Turner. It is now ruled as a homicide case.

UPD says the cause of the death has not been released yet to avoid slowing down the investigation.

In this homicide case, UPD is looking for your help to find the vehicle of the victim, Linda Turner.

That vehicle is a black 2001 Toyota Solara convertible.

The license plate on the vehicle is New York-ODW1916.

If you are to see the vehicle, UPD says do not try to stop the car and contact the Utica Police immediately.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Utica Police Department at 315-735-3301 and ask for The Criminal Investigation Divison.

One neighbor Eyewitness spoke with says she can't believe something like this would happen in her neighborhood.

Jimilee Duval says North Utica is a great area to live in and raise her kids.

"Now you say, oh how did that happen, what am I looking for now, you know? Things run through your head and you don't feel secure to walk around," said Duval.

UPD does not currently have a suspect in custody and are not actively pursuing anyone.

Police are still investigating the case.

Eyewitness news will bring you more details as they become available.
