Herkimer Elementary School got a special visitor today. The
Applebee's "Apple-Bee" mascot stopped by a classroom to pick-up thank
you cards the students created for veterans and active duty military.
The children in this photo have family members who are on active duty today.
It's all part of the "twenty-four million thanks you's" effort aimed at thanking the 24-million U.S. veterans and active duty military personnel for their service to our country. The "thank yous" can be handmade, or posted on the restaurant's website.
