One Glee group at Frankfort-Schuyler High School received the news that they are one of the winners!
The Glee Club at Frankfort-Schuyler is now $10,000 richer in the music department thanks to the contest.
One Glee member says she couldn't believe it when she heard the news.
Rebecca Gillette says it all started with an idea her teacher Ms. Ceglia had along with fellow Glee Club member, David Poe.
The three then rounded up the other "Gleeks," and put together a video for the give a note contest.
"We put the video together and we were here until 10 o'clock to figure out what kind of shots we need, stuff like that," said Rebecca.
"It was just like one of the episodes just doing a project, putting it together, and showing it to the world," said David Poe.
Knowing that the contest was nationwide, Ms. Ceglia says she and the members put in endless effort in their video entry.
"You don't know what anyone else is going to look like, and we really just came up with a concept and what wanted to say in it, and we did that with purpose and the same emotion we do with all of our music, and it came out really well," said Ms. Ceglia.
When asked if Frankfort-Schuyler's Glee Club resembled the television show, Rebecca says without a doubt.
"We're all one big family at the end of the day, we love each other no matter what. It's just exactly how it is," she said.
