A Syracuse woman is now behind bars for theft. According to officials, 39-year-old Marguarette Michel attended the Kelly Clarkson Concert at Turning Stone Casino. She noticed a purse sitting under a chair in the row in front of her. Michel took the purse and exited the concert, where she went to another area of the Casino. There, she emptied cash, credit cards, and other items before throwing the purse away. Michel was arraigned by Justice Robert Glenn of New York Mills and put behind bars on $20,000 bail. The investigation was handled by Oneida Nation Indian Police and assisted by the Oneida County Sherriff's Office Road Patrol.
