Rhode Island Woman Charged with Promoting Prison Contraband

A Rhode Island woman is charged with promoting prison contraband and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

34-year-old Jocelyn Vasquez was visiting an inmate this weekend at Marcy's Correctional Facility and was found in possession of heroin and marijuana.

Vasquez was arraigned in the Town of Floyd Court and was remanded to the Oneida County Jail on $25,000 bail.
