Team USA finishes 5th in World Competition

Team USA finishes fifth in the 2012 World Wheelchair Championships in South Korea.

USA faced Canada in the final game of the round robin, winning 7 to 5.

But, Team USA lost the tie breaker game against Slovakia, losing 7 to 5. Although USA finished fifth overall, they are now qualified for the 2013 World Championships in Sochi, Russia. Team USA also may qualify for a spot in the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games.

The members of Team USA are from Sitrin's success through adaptive recreation and sports program and this is the fifth time members of the program have competed in world wheelchair curling championships.
