Heart Run & Walk: Team Mele walking in honor of co-worker

This year, one company, Team Mele will be coming together to walk in honor of one of their late co-workers, Dale Pasciak.
Dale was on the road working on a project in Pennsylvania when he died of a sudden heart related issue.
His close co-worker and friend Gabe Martini says he worked with Dale for over eight years.
He says his friend's passing is a reminder of how fragile people are.
"He wasn't 100% perfect but I don't think any of us thought he was in bad shape. He quit smoking, he was walking and he was doing his exercise. It was certainly a surprise to all of us," says Gabe.
Team Mele will be joined by Dale's family members.
So far they have raised over $9,000 for Utica's Heart Run and Walk.
