Baldwinsville Man Charged with Rape
A Baldwinsville man is in jail and accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a child less than 15 years of age. After a lengthy investigation, 34-year-old Shawn Casselman was taken into custody, after an incident that was said to have happened during April of 2011. Casselman was arraigned in the Village of Oriskany Court, and sent to Oneida County jail on $20,000 bail. He is scheduled for reappearance in court on March 27th. The reported victim is receiving counseling services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
