Police investigating death of Rome baby

The Rome Police Department is investigating the death of an eleven month old baby.

Emergency Response Teams responded to an address on River Street for a report of an unresponsive child.

The child was rushed to Rome Hospital and Pronounced Dead.

More information is expected to be released on April 18, 2012.

The identity of the child is not being released.
