To kick off this weekend's Oz-Stravaganza, Margaret Pellegrini, The Flower Pot Munchkin, met with some of her fans Thursday afternoon.
Pellegrini will be the guest of honor in the Oneida Nation's float in the Oz-Stravaganza parade on Saturday.
Even though her movie debut was over 70 years ago, the munchkin says the film still has a strong message after all these years.
"It's a movie for everybody. We can all have a heart if we use it, we can all have brains if we use them. The coward lion, he's always looking for courage, and we can all have courage if we use it," said Pellegrini.
The Flower Pot Munchkin says she's now just one of three surviving munchkins from the 1939 movie.
