Notah Begay Foundation Challenge Returns

It has raised more than three million dollars to help fight obesity and diabetes. The Notah Begay Foundation Challenge will tee off at Turning Stone's Atunyote Golf Club. This year's lineup will feature a star studded cast with the likes of Tiger Woods, Cristie Kerr, and Rickie Fowler participating. Golfers will play an east versus west format pitting US against Asian players. Begay says tournaments like this can make a huge difference. Begay says, "It allows us to establish a strong platform to push forward our health based initiative, which are geared towards childhood obesity and type two diabetes prevetion. Which is affecting Native American communities at an alarming rate but its affecting kids across the country." Competitors for The Notah Begay Foundation Challenge will tee off august twenty-ninth.
